Q: What time does the walk begin?
A: The walk begins at 1:00 p.m. We ask that participants check-in at noon.
Q: Is this event family friendly?
A: Yes! We have participants of all ages at the walk. We have face painting for children, as well as many kid-friendly opportunity drawing items.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes! Leashed, well-behaved dogs, are welcome.
Q: Will there be snacks?
A: Yes! We are fortunate to have local companies give free snacks such as cookies, fruit, popcorn, hot chocolate, and water.
Q: I cannot attend the walk, how do I give?
A: We accept donations anytime. You can give online by visiting promiseforpurple.org. You may also give by check, payable to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, with “Promises for Purple” in the memo line. Please send checks to:

Q: Can I pay by credit card at the walk?
A: Yes, we accept major credit cards.
Q: Can I make a donation for an opportunity drawing (i.e., gift baskets)?
A: Yes! We are always looking for great opportunity drawing items. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Is there an opportunity to volunteer?
A: Yes! We may need volunteers to help set-up and/or clean-up at the walk and to help spread the word prior to the event. Please contact email@example.com for more information.
